  • Overview

    Responsible for providing support to the Executive Casino Host and Casino Host with executing programs for recruitment of new players while creating brand awareness of Tioga Downs Casino Resort in the marketplace. The Player Development Coordinator is responsible for keeping unrated, qualified players informed of special upcoming events such as concerts, parties, and promotions.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
    • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with all house rules and regulations.
    • Retrieve messages on the VIP phone line and return calls for concerts and events.
    • Solicit players through telephone, email, personal meetings and direct mailings as instructed by Hosts and the Director of Player Development.
    • Monitor and assist players set by the Player Development Department.
    • Sign up and issue new player club cards to non-carded players thus increasing the database.
    • Keep accurate records/spreadsheets and complete all required reports, which includes but is not limited to concert ticket spreadsheets, dining requests, phone log, event spreadsheets and hotel spreadsheets.
    • Ensure that all reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner to the immediate Supervisor. Effectively handle guest complaints in an efficient and courteous manner.
    • Be available while on duty to issue complimentary goods to qualified players for activity throughout the day after properly evaluating their account.
    • Survey and evaluate the gaming floor by using the computer programs.
    • Work closely with the Hosts.
    • Help with all special events, player parties, marketing promotions and other activities.
    • Be able to prioritize quickly.
    • Maintain strict confidential guidelines in all customer interactions and records and perform as a team member while assisting fellow associates to ensure a smooth operation.
    • Daily use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Bally’s CMP, Bally’s Tableview and Live Floor View.
    • Exercise good judgement when making offers.
    • Develop relationships with players through personal communications, including phone, email, text, letters and face-to-face conversations.
    • Leverage relationships to increase visits, length of visits and wallet share
    • Assists guests with ground transportation, restaurant reservations, secretarial needs, entertainment and local attractions.
    • Use technological applications and devices to record player preferences and habits.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

                EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School Diploma or GED required. 

               

    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must possess excellent communication skills.  Must be able to demonstrate all aspects of hospitality, professionalism, prompt and courteous service, with extreme attention to detail.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.  Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.

     

                MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

     

                REASONING ABILITY:

                Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
