Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues in an active directory environment. Manage the configuration and operation of client-based server operating systems, extensive experience with VMware. Create and verify backups, restores and replication solutions. Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concern. Respond to and resolve help desk requests.
Indirectly supervises all systems users on the property.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from a four-year college or university preferred or four to eight years related work experience with three to five years related work experience in Casino, Hospitality and/or Banking or Entertainment industry or other high volume, complex, demanding customer oriented IT environment.
Minimum of two (2) years experience working with, and supporting server and network operating systems, preferably in a gaming environment. Must possess effective communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as technical journal, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using while numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The Regional Systems Administrator of IT is responsible for the strict adherences to the IT department compliance policies, internal control procedures, New York Commerical Gaming control specifications and the Casino’s policies and procedures.
