Overview

Execute various elements of the strategic marketing plan, oversee promotions and coordinate casino events on and off property.  

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
  • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
  • Write, submit and track promotion rules.
  • Recruit, book and coordinate live entertainment for the property.
  • Set up offers in player tracking system and coordinate/execute promotions and special events

  • Record and maintain events hotline and other phone tree recordings.
  • Submit creative requests and provide creative direction for promotional materials and advertising.
  • Monitor and provide direction for social media communication.
  • Write advertising copy and press releases and review materials for accuracy and clarity.
  • Ability to serve in a community relations capacity.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

BA in Business, Marketing or related field required.  Minimum of one year experience in marketing, promotion or advertising preferred.

 

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational and verbal and written communication skills required.

           

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.    

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
