Overview

Responsible for accurately attending to all receiving, shipping, and stockroom needs of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
  • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
  • Verifies that goods received match all documentation (order sheet and packing slip) and are of expected quality.
  • Ensures the integrity of all supplies delivered to the Receiving Dock.
  • Processes receipts and issues into the MMS system in the absence of Lead Receiver.
  • Fills requisition orders from the stockrooms and ensures delivery to the requisitioning departments.
  • Maintains delivery log with signatures of personnel receiving the orders.
  • Processes incoming FedEx and UPS shipments, ensures delivery to the correct departments.
  • Assists Lead Receiving Clerk with monthly inventory.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly stockroom.
  • Places orders to replenish stock to par levels in the absence of the Lead Receiver.
  • Assist Lead Receiving Clerk as necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required.  Some college courses in accounting or related area preferred.

 

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess effective communication and organizational skills. Must be computer-literate.  Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions, furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to respond to common inquiries and/or complaints.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.    

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The Associate is regularly required to move stock items from trucks to stockrooms and from stockrooms to dollies for issuing to departments.  The Associate is regularly required to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds each.

The Associate is regularly exposed to risk of radiation (from computers), as a portion of the workday is spent inputting data into the computer system.

The associate is regularly exposed to the elements when receiving goods from large trucks.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
