Overview

Responsible for providing dining service to all customers in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
  • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
  • Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to restaurant customers in accordance with venue standards.
  • Performs necessary tasks to service customers, i.e. taking and filling all food and drink orders and assisting in maintaining customers dining area in a clean and neat manner.
  • Monitors customer needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfilled.
  • Demonstrates superior product knowledge for all food and beverage items available to our guests.
  • Suggestively upsells food and beverage products to build guests’ average check.
  • Coordinates back server and busser to ensure excellent service for all guests in their station.
  • Presents check to table and ensures payment of all food and beverage items ordered.
  • Performs as a team member with venue Hosts, Supervisors, Food Servers, Bus People and Kitchen Staff in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation.
  • Assists other restaurant personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required.  Previous a’la’carte and or team food server experience preferred.

            

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
